Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), school or organization, role, and the content of any message when you submit a contact form, request a workshop, register for an event, request materials, or subscribe to our newsletter.

Account information: if you create an account to save resources, we store your email address, an optional display name, and the resources you save.

Usage information: aggregate, non-identifying analytics such as which pages are viewed, referring source, general country, and device type. We do not build advertising profiles.

To reply to your message, schedule or deliver a workshop, confirm an event registration, or send materials you requested.

To send our newsletter, only to people who asked for it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

To understand which educational materials are useful, so we can improve them.

To meet legal, accounting, and grant-reporting obligations for a nonprofit initiative.

G-MIP publishes injury-prevention education for adolescent female athletes. The site itself is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

When we work with a school, district, or club, the school remains responsible for its own student records. We do not ask for, receive, or store student health records, injury reports, roster data, or grades. Workshop sign-ups are completed by an adult staff member on the school's behalf.

If a person under 18 wishes to contact us — for example a student leader applying to our peer program — we ask that a parent, guardian, or school staff member be aware of and consent to that contact.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, email us and we will delete it promptly.

Form submissions, subscriptions, and account data are stored in a hosted database with access restricted to G-MIP administrators.

We use service providers for website hosting, database hosting, email delivery, and privacy-respecting analytics. They process data only to provide those services.

We share personal information otherwise only when you ask us to, or when required by law.

You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Parents and guardians may make this request on behalf of a minor.

You can use nearly all of this site — every guide, article, sport guide, and the Playbook — without giving us any personal information at all.

We use a small number of essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your chosen role, and remember your saved resources. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
